Biographical Info

Aurora Kostezky is an in-house counsel and member of Dobson Mitchell Allport’s commercial team.  She is corporate and commercial lawyer with a particular interest in the agribusiness, tourism and retail sectors.

Aurora has extensive experience acting for clients across a broad range of industries.  Having worked in-house in both the Government and private sectors, Aurora takes a strategic and commercial approach to legal issues, and has advised on general commercial contracts, procurement, facility management, shareholders agreements and business structuring.

Aurora has particular expertise in all aspects of commercial leasing and is an Accredited Commercial Tenancy Law Specialist. Aurora has advised private, corporate and Government clients in commercial, industrial, ski-lodge and agricultural leasing, lease dispute resolution, development and design and build agreements and retail leasing in all Australian states and territories as well as New Zealand and Singapore.

Aurora also has extensive experience in the not-for-profit sector, being a current member of the Board of Girl Guides Tasmania and previous Council Member of the Law Institute of Victoria.  She is also a member of the Law Society of Tasmania’s Property and Commercial Committee and the Leases Committee of the Law Institute of Victoria.
